Well, what can I say about these incredible sleeves,that hasn't already been said. I'm going to struggle there because everyone else has already stated how brilliant they are.
And it's absolutely true; these sleeves really are that good. Looking after my record sleeves has always been important to me. I love protecting the artwork as well as the vinyl. I've usually trusted those thick sleeves that are often picked up in record stores. ...and they've been ok. They're often a bit too big or slightly too small. So I was always looking for the next best sleeve. Then I found the chunky HMV ones with the foldable flap. Very heavy very bulky.....but quite nice. I bought loads of those.
But as good as they are, they crease and fold very easily. This is probably because there's so much room left in them after putting a record in.
So then I hear about blake sleeves. I see you tube videos about them.....all exclaiming how good they are. Not possible I thought. Surely no record sleeves are that good.
I watched hours of reviews. Each one the same as the last - telling me how good blake sleeves are.
I've never been keen on the idea of a resealable flap, but then I heard there's flap less version available.
So..I seek out a European seller of these sleeves , determined to try them. BagsXL leads me to packlino who offer the free sample.
This is too good to be true surely. So I order the free sample - and WOW. it arrives after a few days. And I simply cannot believe how clear it is. Can something that clear really be strong enough to protect my records? The answer is YES. I put my free sample onto a record from 1983 which has a mostly white sleeve with some grey artwork. The result - it's so clear and shiny, it's almost like it's encased I'm glass now.
Incredible. Yes these sleeves really are that good. I have since ordered 100 more...and I cannot wait to put more of my records into these amazing sleeves. Mu only regret is not discovering them sooner.
So - if you want to protect your records and record artwork, you will never find better than the blake sleeves.

I ordered three x100 packs of these, expecting that they would be good, and they did not disappoint. Many of my records were stored in great thick HDPE sleeves that I've bought a local record store (bought over the years in small batches), but I replaced all of them with these because they're just better on all fronts than anything else.
The material is excellent, the OPP plastic material seems ultra transparent, so it pretty much looks like you're looking at the album cover without any plastic around it. Even though it's very thin, it also seems to be quite resistant to crumbling/folding so far.
Being surprisingly sturdy for such thin materials, I must say the sizing for this product is completely on point. I can't speak for gate-folds (wish these guys made those of this material as well), but I was able to fit all my (20-30) double & triple albums in these without any issue (some of them a bit snug but otherwise not deforming the cover cardboard).
Single albums, incl. those with smaller-sized album covers fit great as well, and they do not fit flabby as some other thin-material sleeves tend to. This means it's very easy to take and put albums with these sleeves back into your densely populated record cabinet.
And the price, well… I see these types of sleeves sold for over thrice the price elsewhere, so you're practically getting them for free here. -

Tried these out recently, they fit very well on both single LP albums and snugly on many of the thinner double albums.
Because of the good fit, records in these sleeves are relatively easy to take out and put back in your cabinet/collection without these sleeves crumbling/folding as you shove them back in.. which is nice because the sleeves themselves are actually very thin material, and it feels flimsy but it's actually not.
Additionally (which is probably the reason why you're looking at this page), the sleeves are very transparent, and make albums look more vibrant than regular think polyethylene sleeves. Theyre more transparent than PVC sleeves I'd say even, and without the damage that those type can apparently cause to vinyl.
The price is great too. Overall I'd say my only downside is that the material feels and sounds a bit flimsy to the touch when handling sometimes, even though that doesn't seem to be representative of the product's actual quality. -

Ik ben zeer tevreden over deze buitenhoezen. Je albums fleuren hellemaal op en raken niet meer beschadigd.
Had verkeerde bestelling gedaan en het werd heel snel opgepakt meteen mijn geld terug na retour van de producten.
